Hi, I’m James, a writer, musician and teacher from Scotland, now living in sunny Valencia, Spain.
I moved out here about a year ago after a year and a half spent organising political campaigns in Glasgow, Scotland and three years studying music in London. For many reasons, but mainly great food, warm weather and cheap wine, I’m not planning on returning anytime soon.
Last year I finished writing my first book, about a trip from Helsinki, Finland to Hanoi, Vietnam by train. Now I write a weekly newsletter containing short articles or stories about curious places, people and ideas.
